Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is one of these terms that gets thrown around so frequently, that as a business owner you are bound to have heard of it, however perhaps that’s where it ends.ย What about it and why do you need it?
At Casey Marketing Creations I offer my SEO expertise in a few different ways:

This should always be the order that you do things in order to allow you to fully understand what your website is achieving high scores with, and where it can be improved.

In order to develop any kind of SEO strategy, we would need to evaluate your current situation and the severity of issues preventing your website from ranking.
We need to start with a full SEO Audit Service and this is typically broken into the following technical strategy:
- Cleaning up – we run through basic technical SEO checks that your site needs to fully communicate with Search Engines.
- Organisation – your site’s content needs to be structured for maximum visibility and UX (user experience).
- Presentation – certain elements of your site need to be added, amended, arranged and optimised as these affect click-through rate and will improve the way your search results appear.
- Link Signals – we look at how your pages interact and pass page rank to one another, both internally and externally.
- Security – your site needs to be protected from hackers and all code used within needs to be written and optimised for this purpose
- International SEO – ensure that your site can be accessed and understood correctly by the intended countries
- Speed & Performance – we check that your site is optimised on both desktop and mobile to ensure the best UX for both your users and Google

1. Cleaning Up
Googlebotโs ability to crawl and index your site:
- Diagnosing issues and analyzing the data
- Finding broken linksโ 404 pages and how to fix them, and
- Finding redirect loops and daisy chains, working out what they are and how to fix them.

Audit your sitemap and look at:
- Orphan and low-value pages
- Finding and diagnosing canonical issues, and
- The pagination of the site and other directives

The first thing is always to have a call together so that I can get a really good feel for your business and your brand.
Once I have all the information I need, I will put together a full proposal together for you, including all work to be undertaken, all costs, any payment plans available and more.
Once we’re signed and ready to go, I may need some of the following from you:
- Access to all existing Google Accounts
- Access to your website CMS e.g. WordPress
- Access to the backend of your website e.g. cPanel
- Payment of the first month’s fee upfront
- A short completed questionnaire to allow me to begin my research effectively. You can skip straight to this step below if you are ready to proceed immediately
Once I have everything I need, you will have your full audit within 30 days.ย We will then arrange an hour meeting to go over the results in details and discuss your next steps.
Our next steps would normally be:
- Arrange for me to put together your full SEO strategy based on your findings and other industry and digital marketing related research/findings
- Implementation of the recommended strategy – this would be dependent on the set up of your website and your website developer
Will I be tied to a long-term contract?
For strategy and consultation, we ask for a minimum of 3 months.ย This is because SEO is a longer game and can take weeks, months, even years to get really great results!
What happens if we stop working together?
I will pause all activities in their current state and provide you with your final reports.
Do I get full access to my accounts?
Yes, youโll be given Admin level to any accounts that we create on your behalf and have full access to any other tools we used in the process.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is a long-game strategy.ย Unlike PPC, you cannot get results overnight.
It takes a lot more work and expertise in order to fully optimise your website from a technical, on-page, off-page and linking point of view.
We do not work with companies who automate link building and can guarantee e.g. 50 new backlinks from high authority domains, as this is an impossible and highly complex task.
We follow Google Guidelines closely and will not do anything which could jeopardise your business or website by using strategies such as Black Hat SEO or cheating and taking shortcuts.
Google will see through these attempts and punish as they see fit.
